Food-To-Go Cashier Server
About the role
We are seeking energetic and organized individuals who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Food To Go Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive a great takeout, curbside, and third-party delivery experience.
Responsibilities
- Taking, placing, packaging, labeling, and bagging guest orders
- Receiving and ringing guest orders
- Entering orders and processing payments
- Delivering food and beverages
- Participating in Off Premise Dining activities
Requirements
- Previous experience is preferred but not required - training provided
- At least 18 years old
- Pass a background check and meet Luby's Cashier Certification criteria before starting any cash handling position
- Good organizational skills
- Experience with a Point of Sale (POS) system is a plus
- Open to various work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
- Able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods and walk for long durations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player mentality
Qualifications
While previous experience is preferred, we will train you if you don't have it. You must be at least 18 years old and willing to undergo a background check before starting any cash handling position. Good organizational skills are essential, and experience with a POS system is a plus. You should be open to flexible work schedules and able to handle physical demands like lifting and standing.
Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a team-focused environment are key requirements for this role.
