About the Role
The Food Service Worker - Runner delivers meals to patients who have placed their order through the Room Service program. The Runner works as a team with other Dietetics & Nutrition staff to ensure that the patient's Room Service experience is positive. Responsibilities include verifying meal completeness, adherence to diet orders, and correct patient delivery, while following personal protective equipment precautions before entering patient rooms. This position involves a considerable amount of walking and may include cleaning and assisting the Cook as needed.
Schedule
- Full time (40 hours per week)
- Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Rotating weekends and holidays (weekend hours vary)
Qualifications
High School diploma preferred.
