Food Service Worker (Full-Time) - LBB Airport

About the role

SSP America operates multiple restaurants in the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport and is seeking a friendly, bold‑minded Food Service Worker to deliver an impactful and memorable experience to guests. The position involves keeping busy, achieving results, maintaining high standards, and using personal initiative.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, sell, and maintain food and beverage items.
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from customers and process change.
• Set up, maintain, clean, and break down machinery and equipment.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Return all items used during the shift to their proper place, clean and organize work and storage areas (including coolers and refrigerators), and empty and re‑line trash containers.
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working in a food‑service environment.
• Previous experience working at Dunkin' is an asset.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and point‑of‑sale system to pre‑check an order and close out a check.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.

Pay
