Responsibilities

• Maintains food sanitation standards and ensures food quality and consistency meet required guidelines.
• Instructs offenders about work requirements for assigned duties.
• Identifies and communicates food production issues to immediate supervisors.
• Monitors and reviews temperatures during food preparation and storage.
• Receives and stocks inventory as needed.
• Delivers food to serving locations and inspects tools and equipment for safety.
• Maintains sanitation processes and reviews food stocks and inventory.
• Schedules food service activities, sanitation, and food processes.
• Compiles meal counts and reports for reimbursement and production monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience equivalent to three years of increasingly responsible full-time volume food preparation and service work, including at least one year of supervisory or lead experience.
• One year as a Food Service Steward Associate.
