Food Service Assistant Tier 3 (4 hours/day)
About the role
This position is for a Food Service Assistant - Tier 3 at Fairgrounds Middle School for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Qualifications
- Experience in food handling and cashiering experience desirable.
- Must be physically capable of performing duties, including walking, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must have the ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning related products.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Aid in preparation and serving of food.
- Requires ability to handle money and count back change.
- Assist with clean up in food service areas and equipment.
- Familiarity with sound safety and health practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service.
Benefits
Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification, the minimum starting salary is $16.40 per hour.
