About the role
The Food Service Assistant - Tier 3 position is available for the 2026 - 2027 school year at Nashua High School South.
Responsibilities
- Aid in preparation and serving of food
- Requires ability to handle money and count back change
- Assist with clean up in food service areas and equipment
- Familiarity with sound safety and health practices
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service
Qualifications
- Experience in food handling and cashiering experience desirable
- Must be physically capable of performing duties, which include the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must have the ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning related products
Salary Range
Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification, the minimum starting salary is $16.40 per hour.
