Food Service Assistant Tier 3 (3 hours/day)

About the role

This position is for a Food Service Assistant - Tier 3 at Charlotte Avenue Elementary School for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and cashiering experience desirable.
• Must be physically capable of performing duties, including the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning related products.

Summary of Responsibilities

Aid in preparation and serving of food; requires ability to handle money and count back change; assist with clean up in food service areas and equipment; familiarity with sound safety and health practices; performs other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service.

Benefits

Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification, the minimum starting salary is $16.40 per hour.

Pay

The pay range is dependent on experience and/or SNA Certification.

Schedule

The position is 3 hours per day, 15 hours per week.
