Food Service Assistant Tier 3 (3 hours/day)

About the role

This position is for a Food Service Assistant - Tier 3 at Nashua High School South for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparation and serving of food
• Requires ability to handle money and count back change
• Assist with clean up in food service areas and equipment
• Familiarity with sound safety and health practices
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and cashiering experience desirable
• Must be physically capable of performing duties, which include the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must have the ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning related products

Salary

Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification, Minimum starting salary $16.40 per hour
