Food Server (Prime Rib) - Bossier City

Responsibilities

• Acknowledges guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Knowledge of the menu and makes confident recommendations to guests.
• Acquires and validates a method of payment for all extra food and beverage service in the restaurant.
• Takes orders from guests, recommends food choices, and presents food.
• Assists in clearing tables, transporting dirty dishes and linen to a bus cart.
• Cleans workstation and wait stand at the end of the shift.
• Enhances the gaming and dining experience of guests with prompt, efficient, and interactive service.
• Helps execute and deliver In-Room Dining orders when applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea and coffee machines.
• Ability to read and write basic instructions.
• Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to organize and be creative.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.

Must Haves

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in casual, buffet, and/or fine dining restaurant.
• Experience working in an alcohol and smoking environment.
• The ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while carrying dishes, glasses, and serving trays.
• Ability to push a bus cart and carry trash/linen bags weighing up to 35 pounds.
