Food Runner- Barrel House Bistro

Key Responsibilities

• Affirms that all materials used by the server are clean and ready for daily operations.
• Knows the location of each diner's chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and any other items needed for food delivery.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each plate with its corresponding ticket to run the food out to the tables.
• Sets tables according to Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures that each menu item is prepared exactly as outlined on each ticket.
• Corrects the menu item with the chef if it does not meet the specifications on the ticket.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes any unused place settings.
• Clears dishes located in front of guests after each course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, placing chairs at the table, replacing silverware and glassware, and replacing napkins.
• Assists the server when needed.
• Keeps workstations well-stocked with items and ingredients.
• Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
• Performs safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• One month related experience or training.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.
