Food Runner - Restaurant
About the role
The Lambertville Station Inn is seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Food Runner position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Set-up work station before diner opens
- Make sure dishes presentable and with proper garnish
- Maintain plates and silverware
- Maintain communication with waiting staff and the Kitchen staff
- Make sure that all equipment is clean
- Re-stock work station
- Always be polite and professional
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Requires moderate physical efforts: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus.
Working Conditions: Workplace environment is a kitchen setting with mild to moderate noise level. Conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
