Food Runner - Restaurant

Job Summary

The Lambertville Station Inn is seeking an experienced and team-oriented candidate for the Food Runner position. Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set-up work station before diner opens
• Maintain dishes presentable and with proper garnish
• Maintain communication with waiting staff and the Kitchen staff
• Ensure all equipment is clean
• Re-stock work station
• Always be polite and professional
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the manager

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand and walk
• Requires moderate physical efforts: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus

Working Conditions

• Kitchen Environment: Noise level is usually mild to moderate. Requires noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
