Food Receiver/Dishwasher (Full-Time - No Nights No Weekends)

Responsibilities
- Receive orders and properly stock, maintain, and organize food storage
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Properly and safely load and unload the dishwashing machine
- Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bar
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Delime washing machine and handle chemicals, while being HACCP compliant
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Transfer or move equipment throughout the kitchen
- Use sanitizer test strips and monitor temperature of all washing liquids
- Sweep and scrub floors
- Occasionally clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving
- Follows safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health and Risk Management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a full service kitchen a must
- ServSafe Food Handler certification
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The knowledge of using dishwashing equipment
- The determination to work safely
- Must pass SCREENING and BACKGROUND check
