About the role
The role involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating with all levels of associates regarding store operations. The position also entails introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance, and ensuring customer needs are successfully resolved.
Responsibilities

- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards
- Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs
- Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
- Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and promote process improvement
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses
- Maintain and assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and controlling of expenses in designated business areas to ensure they are indexed to sales
- Monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
- Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved for the business area
- Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace
- Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices

Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges)
