Position Summary
TourToTeach, a role within Walmart, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations. - Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs
- Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
- Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies
- Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience
- Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area
- Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements
- Manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
- Maintains effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
- Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
- Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates
- Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace
- Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments
- Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
- Identifies and communicates goals and objectives

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges).

Live Better U
Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific plan or program terms. Minimum Qualifications

- 2 years’ of college;
- OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience;
- OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
