Position Summary

TourToTeach, a leader in store operations, is seeking a dynamic individual to lead and develop teams effectively. This role involves teaching, actively listening, and providing feedback to associates, managing store operations, merchandising, and company direction. The ideal candidate will model exceptional customer service, drive financial performance, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

What you'll do...

  • Tour stores and provide feedback to associates
  • Collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations
  • Utilize technology and business initiatives to improve store performance
  • Lead and introduce company change efforts
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions
  • Communicate business objectives to teams effectively
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and Community Outreach Programs
  • Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies
  • Provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area
  • Review and evaluate PL Profit Loss statements
  • Manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
  • Maintain effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates
  • Hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set clear expectations, provide associate recognition, and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace
  • Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments
  • Support key stakeholders, plans, and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
  • Identify and address improvement opportunities and demonstrate adaptability and promote continuous learning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Act with integrity, maintain and promote the highest standards of ethics and compliance, and hold oneself and others accountable
  • Strive for excellence, display curiosity, take calculated risks, and encourage learning from mistakes

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure differentials.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Additional Information

  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
