Paradiso Grande in Orlando, FL is seeking a driven individual to join our team as a Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor. This role is a key part of our management team within Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

About the Role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees food and beverage operations at the property, ensuring guest needs are consistently met or exceeded. This position involves managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the food and beverage department, ensuring high-quality products and service.
  • Direct and assist with set-up, preparation, and execution of banquets, parties, and special events.
  • Collaborate with Troon’s Marketing Team to develop and implement revenue-increasing strategies.
  • Assist the General Manager in hiring, supervising, scheduling, and developing bartenders, cooks, and beverage cart attendants.
  • Oversee F&B accounting procedures, cost controls, and monthly inventory.
  • Follow the PO buying process for food and beverage ordering.
  • Train front-line staff on quality assurance and guest service standards.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations.
  • Comply with health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local/state laws.
  • Follow closing procedures and cash handling practices.
  • Prepare food and tend bar as needed.
  • Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and bar.
  • Produce, supervise, and organize food for corporate cafes, catering events, and third-party events.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food items (e.g., 4-6 minutes for lunch appetizers).
  • Maintain kitchen equipment to health code and safety regulations (e.g., cleaning fryers, filters, and hoods).
  • Oversee and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks, wait staff, and dishwashers.
  • Promote teamwork and associate morale.
  • Fill in for absent nonexempt employees (20-40% of the time).
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and notify the General Manager for work orders.
  • Communicate daily with staff regarding special needs, outages, and projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related experience in F&B management.
  • Strong sales orientation and business aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of health regulations and liquor laws.
  • Experience with computerized point-of-sale systems.
  • Food and beverage experience in à la carte and banquet settings.
  • Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently stands, walks, talks, or hears; occasionally sits.
  • Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
  • Lifts up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather).
  • Exposure to chemicals and noise.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.
