The Food & Beverage Supervisor at Thompson Seattle supports senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities while fostering a culture of excellence within the team. This role includes leading associates through coaching, giving direction, and may include responsibilities such as training, scheduling, payroll, and interviewing.
Responsibilities
- Supports senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities
- Fosters a culture of excellence within the team
- Leading associates through coaching, giving direction
- May include responsibilities such as training, scheduling, payroll, and interviewing
- Demonstrates strong food and beverage knowledge and acts as a liaison between culinary and restaurant operations
- Main focus on Conversation, but may occasionally assist in other Food & Beverage outlets as needed, including for training, operational support, or special events
- Ensures product quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction
- Maintains consistency through quality control systems, checklists, order guides, and inventory management
- Guides and mentors the service team while driving revenue growth
Requirements
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- MAST and Food Handlers Certification
- Able to work AM's, PM's, Weekend's and Holiday's
- Able to stand for long periods of time
