Food & Beverage Supervisor
The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Heartwood at Vassar. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and inspire a team while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently provide excellent customer service with a smile
- Talk to guests and find out their needs before they have to ask
- Manage front-of-house operations including greeting guests, managing reservations, and overseeing staff performance
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service
- Handle cash transactions and manage inventory
- Train and mentor new team members
Requirements
- Front of house experience in a mid-to-upper scale restaurant
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including AM and PM
Qualifications
- Leadership, problem-solving, and basic computer skills
- Able to share knowledge and teach others to perform tasks
- High level customer service skills
- Effective communication with guests and team members
- Able to follow instructions, learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure
