Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned F&B areas.
- Understand and comply with state liquor regulations, including prohibition of service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
- Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
- Support the Manager, ensuring staff reports to work; document any late or absent employees.
- Cook upbreaks for assigned staff.
- Inspect table/set-ups, ensuring cleanliness, neatness, and agreement with guest's order and departmental standards.
- Absorb guests' orders, following specified procedures, to ensure department standards are met.
- Document pertinent information in the department logbook.
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards.
- Review status of assignments and any follow-up action with the Manager and/or on-coming Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
- Prefer 1-2 years experience in an F&B related role.
- Micros and Delphi knowledge is useful, but not required.
- Must have a good understanding of the English language and solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must have or be willing to obtain any appropriate certificates/licenses to meet all compliance standards.
