About the role
As a member of our team, you won't just work for the city; you’ll co-create it. Our City Venues team currently has multiple opportunities for experienced and motivated Food and Beverage Supervisors to join our team across casual positions and a fixed term opportunity (working 28 hours per week) until April 2028.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a team to provide excellent food and beverage operations for catering and events across a range of locations including City Hall, Civic Theatre and Fort Scratchley.
- Manage staff in day-to-day operations and perform relevant administrative duties.
- Ensure all services provided are delivered at the highest possible standard, providing the best possible experience.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage staff effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Working with Children Check.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay
Casual: Hourly rate of $46.44 (includes 25% casual loading) + 12% Superannuation
Fixed-Term: $54,308.25 + 17.5% annual leave loading 12% Superannuation pro-rata per annum for a 28-hour week.
Schedule
Casual: Variable schedule based on venue needs.
Fixed-Term: 28 hours per week until April 2028.
