Food & Beverage and Merchandise Stylized Photography Intern, Spring 2027
About The Role & Program
We are seeking a photography intern to join our Food & Beverage and Merchandise team at the Walt Disney World Resort. The intern will gain experience in photography, including art direction, food styling, photo retouch, lighting, scheduling, and client interactions.
The intern will work on projects for the Food & Beverage line of business, merchandise, and guest-facing media. They will also assist with Merchandise Product Locator, Merchandise Mobile Checkout, Stockroom & Store Inventory Management, and other media platforms.
- Take photos and videos for the Food & Beverage LOB for menus, marketing, and social needs
- Focus on capturing images for the Merchandise LOB for both Guest and Cast-facing tools and reports
- Supply content for a variety of Guest-facing media, including Disney Parks Blog and other social media channels/platforms
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Background in photography with coursework/examples of work showing technical expertise and photography studio experience
- Experience covering social media and/or Public Relations
- Proficient with professional use of DSLR cameras; Nikon or other professional models
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Acrobat
- Valid US driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle under inclement weather
- Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions with prolonged standing and/or walking
- Able to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of studio lighting systems
- Ideation of moodboards for photoshoot planning purposes
- Familiarity within a Macintosh environment
- A love for the entertainment and Food & Beverage industries
- Previous video experience
- Able to learn and tackle additional creative projects as needed

Education
You’ll be an undergraduate or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a degree in Photography or related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
- Must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting
- Currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Additional Information:
- Full-time availability for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week)
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- Compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $22.10 per hour.
