About The Role & Program

We are seeking a photography intern to join our Food & Beverage and Merchandise team at the Walt Disney World Resort. The internship runs from January 2027 to June 2027.

What You Will Do

  • Take photos and videos for the Food & Beverage Line of Business (LOB) for menus, marketing, and social needs
  • Focus on capturing images for the Merchandise LOB for both Guest and Cast-facing tools and reports
  • Supply content for a variety of Guest-facing media, including Disney Parks Blog and other social media channels/platforms

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Background in photography including coursework/examples of work showing technical expertise and photography studio experience
  • Experience covering social media and/or Public Relations
  • Proficient with professional use of DSLR cameras; Nikon or other professional models
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Valid US driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle under inclement weather, including minimal lighting
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions with prolonged standing and/or walking
  • Able to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of studio lighting systems
  • Able to ideate moodboards for photoshoot planning purposes
  • Familiarity within a Macintosh environment
  • A love for the entertainment and Food & Beverage industries
  • Previous video experience
  • Able to tackle additional creative projects as needed

Education

You’ll be an undergraduate or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a degree in Photography or related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

  • Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Not complete one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

Additional Information

  • Full-time availability for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week)
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

Pay Rate

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $22.10 per hour.
