Key Responsibilities
- Sell residential flooring solutions including hardwood, carpet, tile, laminate, LVP/LVT, and other flooring products.
- Develop relationships with local builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, and residential clients.
- Generate new business while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Conduct product consultations and recommend flooring solutions based on project needs.
- Manage the sales process from initial meeting through installation.
- Build a strong referral network through exceptional customer service.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of residential flooring sales experience.
- Strong network among Des Moines area builders, contractors, and remodeling professionals.
- Experience selling flooring products in a showroom, retail, or outside sales environment.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated professional who enjoys autonomy and business development.
