About the role
Floor Care Technician position based in Westlake, Texas. Full-time role with a schedule of Sunday to Thursday and some weekends as needed, 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, totaling 40 hours per week.
Pay
Hourly rate of $19.35.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Must have work authorization
- At least 1 year of floor care experience in a janitorial setting
- Must pass a criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled floor care, including area preparation, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, refinishing, waxing, shampooing, and deep carpet extraction
- Polish tiles, vinyl, and wood floors
- Operate and maintain floor cleaning/finishing equipment (e.g., floor buffers/burnishers, water extraction machines, carpet cleaning equipment)
- Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations
- Ensure surfaces are safe by setting up "wet floor" signs, applying non-slip treatments, and adhering to OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
