Floating Personal Banker- Sussex County, DE

Location: This role will travel to branch locations within Sussex County, DE.

About the role

WSFS Bank's Personal Bankers are responsible for providing products and services to enhance customer relationships. The incumbent will get to know customers, understand and educate them regarding their financial needs, and recommend appropriate products and services through in-person interactions and outbound calling efforts. This role involves opening new accounts, submitting loan applications, resolving customer service issues, performing account maintenance, and promoting digital banking services. Personal Bankers also assist with teller transactions, processing them in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner.

We provide a continuous learning environment, challenging work, and opportunities for advancement. Training includes classroom and hands-on experiences over a 4-6 month period, covering transaction processing, account opening, referral techniques, customer service, and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Provide products and services to enhance customer relationships.
• Educate customers on financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Open new accounts and submit loan applications.
• Comply with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Resolve customer service issues and perform account maintenance requests.
• Promote and assist customers with digital banking services.
• Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct outbound calling efforts to expand the customer base.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Prior consultative sales experience is required.
• One year of previous banking experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner.
• Previous experience in a retail sales environment is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability for attention to detail.
• Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to market Bank products and services.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa petition.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM, with Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM required 2-3 times per month. Schedule is flexible and rotating, subject to change based on business needs.

Pay

Salary Range: $37,440 - $52,800. Individual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and other business needs. Eligible associates may receive discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
