About the role

Clemson Creative Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to work with all age groups. We are a family-oriented, close-knit organization with a fun and positive work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Previous childcare experience (preferred)
• Positive attitude and love for working with children

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 11:00 am – 5:45 pm

Pay

$13–$14 per hour, based on education and experience

Responsibilities

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff breaks, filling in for absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts
• Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the direction of the lead teacher
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role
