Responsibilities

  • Understand and practice Life Saving Behaviors and Safety policies.
  • Understand and follow the company requirements for SQF Standards.
  • Monitor the online schedule for scheduled jobs.
  • Assist the Pallet Mover person in product and supply transfer as needed.
  • Run all travelers and labels for the shift.
  • Assist Line Inspectors with special instructions such as packaging and special labels.
  • Monitor the schedule for special instructions, including packaging and special labels.
  • Coordinate breaks and production floor operations with Group Leaders.
  • Assist in the training of all new personnel.
  • Facilitate mold personnel and assist in duties required to keep mold production running.
  • Keep all production supplies (pallets, liners, bags, tape) neatly stacked in designated areas.
  • Assist in general housekeeping responsibilities and empty scrap barrels into designated scrap bins.
  • Review all daily production paperwork for completion compliance; return incomplete paperwork to responsible personnel.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience as a Line Inspector.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees.
