About the role

The Growing Years of Clayton is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to work with all age groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Previous childcare experience is a plus

Schedule

Required shift: Monday – Friday, either 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Compensation

$15‑$18 per hour, based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff breaks, filling in for absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and assist where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lb and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
