Float Pool Nursing Assistant, Full-Time
The Opportunity
Saint Luke’s East in Lee's Summit is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a nursing assistant, a patient care tech, or someone interested in becoming one and providing patient care. Candidates without certification or relevant experience will receive 6 weeks of on-the-job training to learn the position. This training is full-time and paid.
You will have the opportunity to help improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience. The Work
Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN. Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks. Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning. Anticipates and addresses the patient’s family needs proactively. Individualizes and modifies care based on the patient’s needs. Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance patient care.
To be successful, you should have strong communication and time management skills. We are looking for team-oriented individuals who are eager to expand their skills and possess a strong attention to detail.
