About the role
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a progressive care setting as a Float Pool Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and throughout shifts
- Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers
- Document care accurately and thoroughly
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
- Stay knowledgeable about relevant medications and equipment
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, or RN diploma
- BLS and CPR certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
Skills
- Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
- Proficient in medication administration
- Excellent communication and collaboration with medical providers
- Ability to advocate effectively for patients
