FLEX Customer Service Security Officer

About the role

The Flex Customer Service Security Officer position is available full-time in Seattle, WA or the Bellevue/Redmond/Kent/Renton area. The wage is $28.90/hr, and schedules are flexible, allowing for 40+ hours per week. Available shifts include Day: 6am-2:45pm, Swing: 2pm-10:45pm, and Grave: 10pm-6:45pm.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits
• Conduct patrols inside/outside the client's premises, in various weather conditions and terrains
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written reports
• Work in a team environment to achieve site/organizational goals daily
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for assigned sites

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent within 6 months
• 2+ years of professional experience in customer service and security
• Standard computer/technology skills
• Customer service background preferred
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus

• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner
• Great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the shift
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and appropriate escalation
