FLEX Customer Service Security Officer

About the role

The Flex Customer Service Security Officer position is available full-time in Seattle, WA or the Bellevue/Redmond/Kent/Renton area. The wage is $28.90/hr, and schedules are flexible, allowing for 40+ hours per week. Available shifts include Day (6am-2:45pm), Swing (2pm-10:45pm), and Grave (10pm-6:45pm).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside the client's premises, in various weather and terrain conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to achieve site/organizational goals daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for assigned sites.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent within 6 months.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in customer service and security.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Able to interact with a wide range of individuals calmly and professionally.
• Great attention to detail and alertness during shifts.
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment.

Qualifications

• Must pass the company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug tests and background checks.
