About the role
The Fleet Manager oversees the operation and maintenance of the company’s fleet, ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the company’s fleet
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and repairs
- Monitor fuel usage and optimize fuel efficiency
- Collaborate with drivers to ensure safe and efficient driving practices
- Develop and implement fleet management strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of fleet management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of HOS regulations
- Experience with fleet management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
