About the role
The Fleet Coordinator works closely with the Branch Manager to manage the fleet, ensuring unit readiness, customer check-ins/check-outs, and timely invoicing. Key responsibilities include reviewing and authorizing repairs, developing procedures, tracking maintenance, managing customer relationships, preparing paperwork, and ensuring fleet readiness.
Responsibilities
- Review and authorize repairs with vendors
- Develop and implement procedures for efficient fleet operation
- Track and document maintenance intervals for rental units
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors
- Prepare necessary paperwork for timely invoicing
- Ensure timely billing for excessive charges such as mileage, fuel, cleaning, damages, and delivery fees
- Maintain fleet readiness through communication with service providers
- Frequent updates to tracking spreadsheets, sell-over lists, and unit calendars
- Attend company meetings as required
- Contribute to team efforts as needed
Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. No supervisory responsibilities are involved. Physical demands include occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing stairs, talking, and hearing. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is required.
