Fleet Care Worker - Valley Metro - Mesa

Must be over 19 years of age and possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Requires an Arizona driver’s license and willingness to obtain a CDL.

Responsibilities

• Fuel all vehicles and top off fluids to ensure readiness for service
• Clean vehicle interiors according to contract specifications
• Stock and verify functionality of vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first-aid kit)
• Park vehicles in accordance with the facility parking plan
• Document and report any fleet damage to the manager
• Maintain and clean the fuel island; contain and report any spills immediately
• Keep work area compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Sweep, mop, and dispose of trash in the shop area daily
• Perform landscaping and lot cleaning as needed
• Post client-required notices in vehicles
• Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed
