About the Role
The Fleet Analyst is a key role on the asset management team, focused on creating fleet operational excellence under the direct supervision of the Fleet Manager. This position provides detailed, quantifiable fleet information extracted from multiple platforms to drive and support the goals and initiatives of the fleet administrative team. The role champions internal and external projects through data gathering and metrics, delivering value-added support to the MasTec Power Delivery Group fleet business model with a focus on fleet optimization, data management, and executive reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Interact with supported regional fleet and operations leadership to ensure training, comprehension, and utilization of provided fleet metrics and reporting.
- Generate fleet-specific financial data models requiring complex numerical formulas.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in fleet information management systems and enterprise resource planning platforms.
- Excel in data extraction, interpretation, and presentation of quantifiable fleet information.
- Participate in daily meetings with the asset management team to review initiative posture, goal status, and high-impact trend analyses.
- Play a key role in composite API development, implementation, and integration of current and future fleet platforms.
- Assess and identify continuous improvement opportunities for all fleet data systems and processes.
- Maintain a high skill level and performance in execution of fleet deliverables and customer service.
- Present bi-weekly fleet financial briefings to fleet leadership and operations.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, fleet coordinators, accounting, and IT to enhance platform capabilities through system integrations.
- Code end-of-month vendor maintenance spend for executive review.
- Assist fleet leadership in day-to-day interactions with business units, work groups, and vendors for ad-hoc analyses and projects.
- Integrate platforms and programs of supported regional fleets.
- Explore 3PL benchmarking and strategic partnering opportunities with potential ROIs.

Requirements
- BA or working toward a degree in Business Management, Logistics, and/or Accounting/Finance.
- Experience in accounting and data analysis.
- Knowledge of web-based technologies and databases.
Skills
- ERP: Accounting and Asset Management modules.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledgeable in Telematics (Geotab).
- Basic SQL coding.
Pay
Salary range: $60,000–$75,000.
