Fleet Administrator

About the role

The Fleet Administrator supports fleet operations, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, compliance, and reporting. This role works closely with division managers, vendors, accounting, and insurance partners to ensure efficient and compliant fleet management.

Responsibilities

  • Cook up new vehicles, move them around, and get rid of old ones
  • Keep track of all the vehicles in the system, from inspections to fuel usage
  • Register and title the vehicles
  • Handle fuel cards and look out for any funny business
  • Make and send out reports for bosses to see
  • Chat with vendors, insurance people, and other departments
  • Watch the inbox and answer questions fast
  • Help with fleet projects and teamwork
  • Make sure everything follows rules and regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Prior fleet administration or related experience preferred
