Flatbed Logistics Coordinator & Carrier Sales

About the role

LST Group is seeking multiple Flatbed Logistics Coordinators and Carrier Salespeople. Candidates should ideally be located in Kansas City, Chattanooga, Tampa, or Atlanta areas, though remote candidates meeting all requirements will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Communicate and interact professionally with clients and carriers.
• Solve problems and maintain attention to detail in supply chain management and transportation procedures.
• Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify and manage potential fraudulent activities and carriers.
• Provide competitive quotes and arrange same-day loads for carriers.
• Show confidence in personal capabilities and seek advancement and management opportunities within the company.
• Manage customer inquiries regarding pricing, scheduling, and estimated times of arrival (ETAs).
• Bid on Flatbed shipper load/bid boards with experience and expertise.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or carrier salesperson.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A solid understanding of supply chain management and transportation procedures.
• The ability to work well and multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• The capability to identify and avoid fraudulent activities and carriers.
• The ability to spot and secure same-day Flatbed trucking arrangements.
• The confidence to handle pricing and managing freight independently.
• The willingness to provide competitive quotes and manage customer inquiries.
• Experience bidding on Flatbed shipper load/bid boards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics experience.
• Ability to sling freight all day long.
