Flatbed Carrier Sales and Operations Representative
About the role
As a Flatbed Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role at Redwood Multimodal by identifying, sourcing and developing strong business relationships with specialized service providers to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Work with a dedicated team of flatbed modal experts
- Core focus of a growing team ensuring maximum profitability on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
- Provide and negotiate freight rates to motor carriers (and internal sales teams as needed)
- Develop and maintain a book of business based on flatbed and specialized shipments
- Cookier carrier fleets with customer shipments and ensure best in class service levels
- Verify all freight charges, confirm receipt of Bill of Lading, and resolve all payables discrepancies prior to final payment to motor carrier
- Monitor Bill of Lading discrepancies to ensure proper return of commodity is arranged, as necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned and learn how to problem solve and troubleshoot situations in real time

Pay
The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
Schedule
This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.
