The Fixed Income Operations Analyst position is listed on behalf of a partner company. The role is based in the United States and offers support in investment operations within a technology-driven financial environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily operational activities
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, controls, and infrastructure
- Overseeing fixed income trade settlement activities
- Managing corporate action workflows
- Maintaining internal operational tracking tools and reporting workflows
- Reconciling internal records with external counterparties and service providers
- Partnering with accounting teams for accurate transaction recording, cash reconciliation, and month-end review processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, process optimization, and workflow enhancements
- Supporting strategic operational initiatives
- Collaborating with external providers to improve processes, maintain compliance standards, and enhance operational controls
- Contributing to the creation and refinement of operational policies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements include:
- Finance operations professional with 5-10 years of experience, preferably in operations, middle office, hedge funds, broker-dealers, or fund administration
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience managing complex workflows in investment environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage and analyze complex financial data
- Experience supporting fixed income operations, trade lifecycle processes, reconciliations, or related investment workflows
- Ability to work effectively between 7am and 5pm PST
- Experience using enterprise-level accounting or operational systems, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Familiarity with process automation, including the use of AI tools, large language models, or AI-assisted coding solutions
- Experience with hedge funds, broker-dealers, fund administrators, and month-end accounting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and implement practical solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance, technology, and investment teams
- Authorization to work in the United States
