Responsibilities

  • Assure customers receive world-class service and attention in fitting rooms.
  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant manner.
  • Assist customers with knowledge and courtesy, transferring calls to appropriate associates or areas as needed.
  • Perform general office duties, including mail sorting, delivery, and assisting other office positions.
  • Create daily pocket schedules and signs for all shops.
  • Assist in various projects for members of the Leadership team.
  • Develop product knowledge and partner with sales associates to achieve daily selling goals.
  • Monitor fashion trends and assist customers in fitting rooms, including checking them in/out and managing merchandise.
  • Prepare merchandise (e.g., buttons, zips) for return to the selling floor.
  • Answer customer questions about merchandise location, price, and use.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and personal growth.
  • Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance and attitude while promoting a respectful team atmosphere.
  • Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits clearly.
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills and complete basic mathematical equations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Pay

$16.50+ per hour.

Schedule

Must be available to work between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Average of 40 hours per week.
