About The Job
We need you to fill the role of Fitness Floor Attendant. This is a part-time, non-exempt position. You’ll perform the following key duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Ensure the needs of our members, guests, and visitors are met with exceptional customer service.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by making eye contact, greeting, and participating in informal communication.
- Be encouraging, positive, professional, and delightful. Make an honest effort to know others by their name and share inspiring insights about yourself.
- Uphold high standards in cleanliness, organization, and presentation of equipment, ensure visual flows are undisrupted.
- Maintain full stock of hygienic products at all times for members, guests, and visitors.
- Monitor sauna and steam rooms to ensure users are safe from heat-exhaustion. Ensure these rooms are clean and functioning properly.
- Promote safety by ensuring policies are being followed and that products/equipment are being used as intended.
- Be knowledgeable about our products/equipment, its functions, and be able to provide simple and clear instructions on proper usage.
- Provide an elevated experience for members by assisting in the set-up and break-down of classes, programs, services, and amenities.
- Knowledgeable in navigating our website, software integrations, apps, and technology.
- Have a strong grasp in our programs, services, and offers to connect and integrate members with the appropriate professional.
Requirements
- Current Adult CPR, AED and First Aid Certification required.
- Vouchers available during on-boarding and certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
- Energetically embrace and model behaviors that will create improved results.
- Demonstrate thoroughness, pay attention to details, and respect work duties.
Preferred Education And Experience
- Students pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, Public Health, or Human Health and Services.
- Background in exercise, fitness, athletics, sports, and wellness.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness.
- A genuine interest in health and wellness.
- A strong positive attitude.
