Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
- Communicate observed hazards, damaged infrastructure, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Previous firefighting experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
