Job Description
As a Security Guard - Overnight Shift in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Cover regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, perimeters, and/or other assigned locations, helping to identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Maintain access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could impact daily operations or security-related operations.
- Support a professional atmosphere by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with site procedures while maintaining awareness of the surrounding environment and reporting suspicious behavior.
Minimum Requirements
- Able to ride a bike.
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
