Fire Suppression Services Technician

About the role

NELBUD modernizes fire protection, kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, grease trap services, and related technical services. As a Fire Suppression Service Technician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain pre‑engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting, educate customers, sell needed products for code compliance, and provide exceptional customer service while representing NELBUD.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre‑engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights
• Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and transport, as needed
• Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting
• Educate customers and sell products needed to code compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

Requirements

• Ability to answer promptly to service calls
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fire suppression (strongly preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (company truck provided from shop to job site)
• At least 20 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
