Fire Suppression Services Technician

About the role

NELBUD is growing and we want you to grow with us. We are modernizing the ways of Fire Protection, Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning, Grease Trap Services, and more. Services include: kitchen hood cleaning, technical services, and repair; fire protection & suppression systems; grease trap cleaning and line jetting.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre‑engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights
• Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and transport, as needed
• Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting
• Educate customers and sell products needed to code compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

Requirements

• Ability to answer promptly to service calls
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fire suppression is strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license – company truck provided from shop to job site
• Must be at least 20 years old
• A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required
