Fire Suppression Service Technician

About the role
Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems, and other related building system products at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot, and install equipment from various manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
- Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills.
- PC Skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Valid US driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem) are a plus.
Pay
Hiring hourly range: $16.30–$31.73. The rate will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment.
