Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative (Hybrid)

About the role
The Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, maintaining and growing existing customer relationships, estimating fire sprinkler installation and construction service projects, and securing contracts. This role supports revenue growth through a mix of new construction, retrofits, construction service work, and long-term customer partnerships with General Contractors and end-user customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the General Contractor and end-user markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Estimate, quote, and close fire sprinkler installation, retrofit, and construction service projects
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry involvement
- Conduct site visits to assess fire sprinkler system requirements and propose compliant, cost-effective solutions
- Provide technical guidance to customers regarding fire sprinkler systems, life safety solutions, and NFPA and AHJ requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams including designers, project managers, service managers, and field leadership to ensure smooth sales-to-operations turnover
- Support service agreement opportunities and identify system improvement or upgrade needs
- Prepare and present value-based proposals, pricing, and scopes of work
- Track sales activity, forecasts, and performance against targets; provide regular reporting to management
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and professional development activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Pay
The posted salary range is $70,000 – $95,000 per year. This range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and market considerations.
