Fire Protection Superintendent

About the role

The Fire Protection Superintendent oversees all fire protection systems and procedures within a facility. This includes managing the maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with local and national safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of fire suppression systems
• Ensure compliance with local and national safety codes
• Manage the training and supervision of fire protection staff
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of fire protection systems
• Develop and implement emergency response plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection management
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
